ABOUT EWB-USA UH CHAPTER
“Engineers Without Borders – USA (EWB-USA) is a non-profit humanitarian organization established to partner with developing communities worldwide in order to improve their quality of life.”
The University of Houston Chapter
Current and Past Officers
The UH chapter was established in the fall of 2006 by an eager group of students and faculty who were intrigued by this unique and dynamic opportunity to not only make an impact within our campus community and the Greater Houston area, but globally. Our main goal is to design and implement sustainable designs in sustainable communities. Our projects are international, but we offer local training and local community involvement for our members.
The partnerships we have established with other Houston area EWB chapters and nonprofit organizations, like Rotary International, enable us to integrate technical and soft skills to develop leadership, project management, and teamwork.
